Industrial Designer – Entry Level to 2 years

We’re searching for an associate Industrial Designer to join our team.  A designer in this role has proficient sketching skills, the ability to translate/build concepts in CAD using SolidWorks and deliver high-level KeyShot renderings. This designer also has excellent communication skills that promote team engagement and strong customer relationships.  As an industrial designer with CHOi Design, you will be involved in projects from beginning to end.  The ideal candidate will have the willingness to learn and grow with the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited industrial design program

  • Product Design experience with a portfolio

  • Sketching skills, Cintiq/Sketchbook Pro preferred

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials

  • Ability to visually and verbally communicate viable design and manufacturing solutions

  • 3D Design experience in SolidWorks preferred

  • Proficiency in 2D Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

  • Ability to create renderings using KeyShot software

  • Experience in creating 3D printed low fidelity prototype

  • Excellent communication skills, aptitude for listening to others and contributing to group discussions

  • Self-Starter who works well independently and with teams.

  • Manages time effectively and can meet deadlines consistently
